386 Million SHIB Burned; Urge For Shiba Inu Petition 

Over 387 million tokens worth $12,800 were removed from supply in a single day. The burn hails from an inbuilt mechanism where a portion of the SHIB supply is sent to the burn address for each Shiba Inu transaction executed by users. With Shiba Inu’s price recently increasing, the number of transactions has also increased. However, the impact can be felt in the longterm. Over 723 billion Shiba Inu tokens have been burned since the token’s creation, excluding the famous 410 trillion tokens burned by Vitalik Buterin. Recently some members from the SHIB army started a petition to urge Grayscale in launching a Shiba Inu ETF.
