2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, eSprinter price and specs

4 min read

The updated Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is coming to Australia with a reduced lineup, more tech, enhanced safety, higher prices and – for the first time – the choice of electric power.

Mercedes-Benz is now selling the eSprinter in Australia, coming at an almost $10,000 premium above the most expensive turbo-diesel Sprinter.

The eSprinter is the only van in the lineup available in anything other than medium-wheelbase (MWB) guise, offering a long-wheelbase (LWB) variant.

Across the range, prices of turbo-diesel Sprinter vans are up between $4978 and $6067, with the cab-chassis increasing by $5962 to $6067.

The increase comes with the addition of more standard equipment, including additional safety tech.

New features include Moving Off Information Assist, which works at speeds of up to 10km/h to monitor an area 3.7m in front of the steered direction of the vehicles for other road users; and Sideguard Assist, which builds on the blind-spot monitoring feature to detect road users in your blind spot at low speeds.

Lane-keep assist and traffic sign recognition are now standard, while new convenience features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Orders are now open for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and eSprinter, with Australian deliveries due to begin in August.
